The german tuner vath unveiled latest performance package with offering both new looks and extra power for the for Mercedes C250 CGI German saloon. The visual look was further refreshed by installing a new set of wheels and tires 8.5x19 inch wheels at the front and 9.5x19 inch alloys at the rear with 235/35ZR19 and 265/30ZR19 tires.

The standard model outputs 204 hp, but the Mercedes C250 CGI German Saloon by VATH equipped with the V25 power pack develops 255 HP (188 kW) and 370 Nm torque.For 1,200 Euros, engineers from Vath could also take down the speed limited and give it a top speed of 260 km/h. The tuners also offer theMercedes C250 CGI German Saloon by VATH with 270 hp. This kit includes a new intercooler and a sport exhaust system.

“Good optimising” has been the motto of the company VÄTH near the town of Aschaffenburg for more than three centuries. With the tuning kit V25 (for about 1 200 Euros) the performance of the original 204 HP with an unchanged hub room size of 1 796 cm³ has been increased using motor technology to 255 HP (188 kW) and 370 Nm torque. This translates to a new maximum speed of 260km/h, which should in no way be underestimated.

In combination with the VÄTH charged air cooler (€1 118.60 ) and the VÄTH sports exhaust system (€2 011.10), the car can even reach 270 HP!. In addition to the motor-technical improvements, the external appearance of the C-class is part of the obligatory program at VÄTH:

The C class presented here has been upgraded with special modifications to the coveted C63 AMG optic and tuned aerodynamically as well as visually with the VÄTH Carbon Motor bonnet (€4 641), the Carbon Front Spoiler Lip (€1 416.10) as well as through a Rear Diffsor (€1 773.10) made from carbon andTrunk Spoiler (€333.20). Speaking of wheels: These are weight-optimised tailored rims 8.5×19 inches in size at the front and 9.5×19 inches at the bank, covered with 235/35ZR19 and 265/30ZR19: this costs around 4046 Euros. Porsche Panamera Turbo Powerkit program includes two new turbochargers with titanium aluminum turbine wheels and modified engine management system. This means the total torque output of the Turbo rises to 750 Nm. If you install Porsche Panamera Turbo Powerkit program together with the Sport Chrono package, the torque rises even more to 800 Nm. In Sport Plus mode, the Porsche Panamera Turbo with the personalization power kit and the Sport Chrono package needs only 3.9 seconds to reach 100 km/h and has a top speed of 303 km/h. The Porsche Panamera Turbo Powerkit price is 16,695.70 EUR and will become available in September 2010.

Starting in September, Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG, Stuttgart, will offer a Powerkit for the Panamera Turbo, which will raise engine output by 40 hp to 540 hp. Moreover, a Sport Design Package and the new 20-inch Panamera Sport wheels will widen the individualization program for the Gran Turismo range.

Key elements of this Panamera Turbo Powerkit are two new turbochargers with titanium aluminum turbine wheels. Engine management has been adapted accordingly and thus, the result is an appreciable further improvement of the engine's response. Maximum torque rises to 750 Nm. If in overboost mode included in the Sport Chrono package which is available ex factory as part of the Panamera Turbo Powerkit, it goes up to 800 Nm. In Sport Plus mode, the Panamera Turbo accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.9 sec – 0.1 sec faster than the production car. Top speed is 305 km/h compared with 303 km/h of the production vehicles. With 11.5 ltr/100 km (24.6 mpg imp) during the NEDC test cycle, fuel consumption of an Panamera Turbo with Powerkit is not higher than that of the 500 hp production model. This, too, is what Porsche Intelligent Performance means to Porsche.

As a Porsche Exclusive option, the Powerkit is available from September 2010 at a price of Euro 16,695.70 including VAT. Porsche Tequipment will launch the Powerkit as a retrofit kit from November 2010.

With its new Sport Design Package, Porsche offers its Panamera customers another possibility to customize their cars optically. The package includes a unique, exterior color painted front end with widened black air intake grilles, separate side skirts and the standard, exterior color painted rear underbody apron with diffuser and fins.

Starting in October 2010, the Sport Design Package will be available from Porsche Exclusive, or for retrofitting from Porsche Tequipment. The price from Porsche Exclusive is Euro 4,581.50 including VAT. On request, side skirts can be supplied separately at a price of Euro 969.85 including VAT.

For an especially sporting performance with enhanced appearance and driving dynamics, the third feature of the extended range of options offered for the Panamera are the new 20-inch Panamera Sport wheels. The light alloy multi-spoke wheel is 9.5" wide on the front axle, and 11.5" on the rear axle. Thus, it does not only have a larger tire contact area but is also flush with the wheel arch. The wheels are available from Porsche Exclusive in GT silver metallic, black, or in the car color from Euro 1,588.65 including VAT, and from Porsche Tequipment in GT silver metallic and black for retrofitting.

Infiniti has announced 2011 Infiniti G25 Sedan at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance . The 2011 Infiniti G25 Sedan is powered by a 2.5-liter DOHC 24-valve V6, 218 hp and 187 lb-ft of torque-driven development. The 2011 Infiniti G25 Sedan is equipped with a 7-speed automatic transmission and will be sold in two versions - with all-wheel drive and rear drive.

The 2011 Infiniti G25 Sedan is available in three trim levels: Base, Journey and G25x AWD Sedan, and will come with a wide range of devices. The 2011 Infiniti G25 Sedan equipment includes automatic climate control, premium audio system with six speakers, XM satellite radio and leather seats.

Infiniti today announced a new addition to the popular Infiniti G Line, the Infiniti G25 Sedan, which features a 2.5-liter V6 engine. It is scheduled to go on sale at Infiniti retailers nationwide in September, joining the Infiniti G37 Sedan, G37 Coupe and G37 Convertible. It will have a starting Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price* (MSRP) of $30,950 USD.


“With the new Infiniti G25 Sedan, we’re broadening the appeal of the G Line with a model designed to provide an additional choice for buyers looking for a true luxury sedan, but who might not need the higher levels of performance provided by our larger engine-equipped G37 models,” said Infiniti Vice President Ben Poore, speaking at a media event at the 60th annual Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. “The G25 is positioned in the heart of the luxury sport sedan market, allowing us to bring Infiniti’s Inspired Performance to a wider selection of buyers.”


The new 2011 Infiniti G25 Sedan shares the same dynamic exterior, interior and chassis as the G37, but with a smaller displacement engine. The 2.5-liter DOHC 24-valve V6 produces 218 horsepower and 187 lb-ft of torque, versus the G37’s 3.7-liter DOHC 24-valve V6’s 328 horsepower and 269 lb-ft of torque. The Infiniti G25 Sedan comes with a standard 7-speed automatic transmission and is available in both rear-wheel drive and intelligent all-wheel drive. Three models are offered: Infiniti G25 Sedan, Infiniti G25 Sedan Journey and G25x Sedan AWD.


The Infiniti G25 Sedan’s extensive list of standard equipment includes leather-appointed seating, Shodo aluminum interior trim, 8-way power driver’s seat and 4-way power front passenger’s seat, Automatic Temperature Control, premium audio system with six speakers, XM® Satellite Radio (XM® subscription required, sold separately) and much more.

DeLaSalle Electric Car - Ultra Light-weight Aerodynamic Body

The new electric car designed by Student DeLaSalle School in Kansas City, Missouri, in collaboration with technical engineers Bridgestone Americas' Center of Akron, Ohio built. The DeLaSalle electric car has just completed testing on Bridgestone's Texas Proving Grounds and its developers believe it may have set a new world record for efficiency.

The students have developed the DeLaSalle electric car's driveline, electric propulsion system and the full, ultra light-weight aerodynamic body. Dressed with Bridgestone Ecopia EP100 tires, the DeLaSalle electric car managed to get during testing an efficiency equivalent to a 300 mpg fuel consumption.

The developers are petitioning the Guinness World Records to consider their electric car as a new world record.

Bugatti released Bugatti Veyron Super Sport specs list with a new line of photos of the new hypercar. The Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Super Sport, will be sold in extremely limited production, but it will be capped at 415 km/h, or 257.8 mph, just over 10 mph short of the actual record speed it reached. The Bugatti Veyron Super Sport develops 882 KW (1,200 hp) at 6,400 rpm and 1,500 Nm of torque at 3 000-5 000 rpm.

The top speed of the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport, which is also the record for a production model, is 415 km/h. The car can actually go a lot faster, but it's limited for customer safety. The Bugatti Veyron Super Sport needs 2.5 seconds to reach 100 km/h, 7.3 secodsn to reach 200 km/h and 16.7 seconds to reach 300 km/h. Its gearbox shift time is 0.1 seconds.

The official Bugatti Veyron Super Sport specs say the car has a fuel consumption of 37.2 liters / 100 km in the urban cycle and 23.2 liters / 100 km in the combined cycle. Don't be surprised if the actual, day-to-day use, figures a higher.

Fuel consumption is equally brisk, drinking down 6.3 mpg around town and 16.2 mpg on the highway for a Euro combined cycle of 10.2 mpg. But between the $38,000 tires and $21,000 service appointments, the cost of fuel will be the least of the owner's worries.

Following up on the G-POWER M5 HURRICANE RS powered by a G-POWER twin-supercharger engine with 750 hp/551 kW, which has set the record for the ‘world’s fastest sedan’ at 367,4 km/h in early 2010, G-POWER did it again. But this time with 372 km/h! With this target in mind, the development for the new evolutionary HURRICANE RR with 800 hp began. A few weeks ago, the air is tight with tension when the G-POWER engineers give their “go” for the M5 HURRICANE RR to manage the ultimate test:


High Speed. It takes only a few minutes to change the standard 20 inch G-POWER forged wheels to 19 inch ones. The wheels, especially fitted with Michelin Pilot Sport tires that Michelin are certified for top speeds of more than 370 km/h. The HURRICANE RR is ready to go, the test track as well. Apart from the swop of the wheels the HURRICANE RR is completely standard and relies predominantly on its power of the bi-supercharger engine. And just a few laps later it is done.


The analysis of the engineers states a top speed of 372,1 km/h. World record! Once again to achieve this extreme performance, the twin supercharger system of the high-revving V10 has been redesigned. The two superchargers named ASA T1-313 have been replaced by larger ASA T1-316 units. They are both driven by a belt and do provide each cylinder bank with supercharged air. This means more space for the supercharged air by up to 25 percent. The air volume being transported by these modified superchargers is able to generate a theoretical power output of more than 900 hp.


The pre-compressed air from the superchargers is cooled for a maximum power output. A complicated aluminium casting - painted in G-POWER orange - replaces the standard air box on top of the engine, and its direct inlet is responsible for the spontaneous response characteristics which give the G-POWER motor its incomparable response and also much more torque.


The inner workings of the 10-cylinder, four-valve engine are optimised by light, precisely balanced MAHLE high-performance forged pistons with lower compression and increased mechanical strength. As the standard connecting rods and piston pins were equally not up to the considerably increased forces, here too, recourse was had to special parts. An optimized mapping of the engine electronics also contributes to the increased power output of 800 hp / 588 kW, available between 7,500 and 8,000 rpm. The engine delivers its peak of torque of 800 Nm at 5,000 rpm.


But the G-POWER HURRICANE RR does not only set new performance standards for top speed. With an acceleration of just 4.35 seconds from nought to 100 km/h, 9.5 seconds up to 200 km/h and 25,8 seconds up to 300 km/h the two-ton sedan is also leading his class. The G-POWER technology is available for all current M5 and M6 models. The G-POWER SK III bi-supercharger engine conversion with 750 hp / 551 kW starts at 56,000 Euros (net).


In addition to the most powerful BMW engine ever being fitted to a street-legal BMW M5 a new aerodynamic for maximum efficiency was key. The HURRICANE RR is equipped with the G-POWER “HIGHLINE” body kit. In addition to provide the necessary downforce the body kit is also designed to provide significant more air flow to cool the engine. The body kit consists of front and rear skirts and spoilers, doors render and the rear spoiler.


Two tons of weight and a top speed of 372.1 km/h naturally require extreme demands on the tires, being fitted on special G-POWER forged wheels. Even more contributions to the HURRICANE RR’s high-speed talents are coming from a G-POWER high-performance brake system and the height-adjustable G-POWER RS coilover suspension that is adjustable for both compression and rebound in nine settings.


The interior of the record car features a tachometer reading up to 400 km/h, clear-coated carbon-fiber panels for the dashboard, center console and door panels. An ergonomically shaped G-POWER sports steering wheel with especially perforated Kjerba Nappa leather is completing this package. The G-POWER HURRICANE RR can be ordered as a complete car, only. Any current M5 model – sedan or station wagon – can also be equipped with the individual G-POWER components of the world record holder.
